Re: Osho
Always has you on the edge, please don't do something silly 😂 but I like that when collecting the ball he always looks up, will run into midfield and looks to play a ball forward instead of the safe 10 yard square ball, to get the fans onside, laughing when he fks up doesn't help him.

Manner of his questions to a well spoken Osho. Chalk and cheese to Glen up next.Originally posted by delmbox View Postwhy?
Last guy always makes a fool of himself but Osho talking openly about his struggles after a clearly difficult start and he's downplaying it saying they were hardly burning effigies of you outside the stadium

Re: Osho
Seems like a really decent guy in the interview, and really open and honest about how his start planned out for him. Seems like he has a mentally healthy approach to the constant competition of his workplace - maybe he would be a good candidate for Eli King to interview on his YouTube channel.
Despite thinking Oshi had a bad start, I thought he looked like he had the potential to be a Gabbidon-esque heads up CB for us. It just seemed that his decision making or sharpness/speed of thought was letting him down every now and again. Also, his smiling/constant happiness/optimism even when things are going wrong really stands out amongst the mindset of City fans (most of us where I sit are at least partially motivated to come to games for the opportunity to have a moan/vent a spleen/some form of gallows humour).
The interview makes it seem that he is aware that there has been a leap in intensity from his time in France to coming here and playing the way BBM wants. Hopefully he's getting more up to speed and we can see more performances of his recent quality alongside Lawlor. Can forgive him some bedding in time/the odd mistake (if it doesn't cost us a promotion).

Re: Osho
The encouraging thing is that both he and BBM are openly honest about how bad his start was. No trying to sugarcoat it or give excuses. He's played at a good level the last two seasons so he's definitely better than what he initially showed.
Hopefully he turns into a bit of a Mark Hudson, who also had a stinker of a start but ended up becoming one of our best ever CBs.

Great post - totally agree with the above - what appears to be refreshing honesty which has been a theme from BBM since he joinedOriginally posted by FormerlyJohnnyBreadhead View PostThe encouraging thing is that both he and BBM are openly honest about how bad his start was. Re: Osho
It could be a while before the fans forget those initial errors, and I guess we'll all be cringing a bit, whenever he attempts a back-pass. That said, his last few games have been good, and the performance v Bradford was outstanding. I guess the real shock was that we'd quickly come to think of BBM as having a pretty good eye when it comes to transfers, and so the idea that he might have bought a liability was a bit of an eye-opener. Turns out he hasn't after all.

Yes, I think the step up in intensity from France to League One caught him out a bit. He was trying to dwell on the ball, and opposing players were targeting him, giving him no time. He's obviously improving and getting used to the speed and intensity now again, and should prove a great addition for the remainder of the season and into the future.
