Genuinely impressive and more than a little surprising.

Lincoln’s last 12 League One games:

P 12, W 9, D 3, L 0, GF 26, GA 11, GD +15, Pts 30

Cardiff’s last 12 League One games:

P 12, W 7, D 4, L 1, GF 21, GA 12, GD +9, Pts 25

Lincoln’s remaining fixtures include Bolton (H), Cardiff (A), Stockport (H) and Huddersfield (A).

Ours include Lincoln (H), Huddersfield (A) and Bolton (H).

The bookmakers have Cardiff as favourites at 4/7 to win the title, with Lincoln available at 9/4. The odds for promotion are Cardiff at 1/16 and Lincoln at 3/10.

I haven’t seen much of Lincoln this season, but they’ve looked fairly limited whenever I have watched them, which makes their form all the more surprising, to me at least.

Tempting fate perhaps, but I’m still confident we’ll win the league, mainly because I can't believe Lincoln will maintain this level of form indefinitely. City will have a few more off days for sure, but Lincoln are due some too.

If they do carry on like this then they deserve it….most teams can’t manage to do for long periods so might assume this is their patch.
Always more concerned by the gap to 3rd. Lincoln home to Bolton next week, the more they play each other the better

They e had enough fortune already with multiple injury time winners including one against us, plus we have a game in hand on them and they visit us….if anyone could catch us it would be Stockport for top two.

I keep thinking that Lincoln have the feel of a Neil Warnock team about them. Big strong guys up front and in defence and they muscle out results without looking particularly skilful. I am not sure that they wil go away any time soon. Michael Skubala's tactics are reminiscent of our team under Warnock.

I have heard Lincoln's manager speak on a couple of occasions and he does seem a cut above the usual lower league manager, so I am not surprised that Lincoln are doing so well, despite their football not exactly impressing.
They are punching above their weight, but appear to be a well run club, so perhaps they will keep this run going and gain promotion.
