Is it this week Sky announce tv matches? Looking at booking travel/overnight accomodation so could do with knowing if kick off day and/or time is changed.

Sky/EFL will start announcing on a week by week basis from this week on. So I expect us to find out this Thurs/Fri if Lincoln H on Mar 7th is to be moved. We may not find out about Exeter until the following week.

Sky like to throw in a Thursday night lower league game and of course the 12:30pm kick offs, at least two on each Saturday. I'm not booking trains yet as I suspect a 12:30 for Exeter is not out of the question.

          I hope its kept as a 3pm KO.....otherwise, it's a 7am train if its a 12.30pm KO. Thanks for the info, Mike.

I thought it was a 4 week rolling basis starting 1st Feb Mike. Not week by week.

            Copied from EFL.com
Selections for matches scheduled after the first weekend in March will be announced on a four-week rolling basis starting from February 1 (e.g. a selection for the first weekend in April will be selected in the first weekend in March).

Selections for matches scheduled for the penultimate weekend of the regular season will be announced three weeks in advance.

Selections for matches scheduled for the final weekend of the regular season will be announced the week prior.

My reading of that EFL statement is both: the TV choices will be released week by week on a 4-week rolling basis.

It's the nearest home game in the season for me but I'll be heading off elsewhere that day

Which means the "for tv" fixtures on March 14th will be released on Feb 14th. Could be some late Valentine's romantic weekends away in Devon being organised on Feb 14th then. Just an incredible co-incidence that the Bluebirds are playing there.

I think the rolling basis means an announcement each week revealing the TV games for the weekend four weeks later.

Previously there was a TV fixture dump covering a few months but now it's going to 'roll' week after week

Trains already look expensive for this one

4.5 hrs each way and £86 for me in the Midlands....presuming its a Saturday 3pm KO. Cheaper/quicker if its a 12 30 KO...but a very early start. Hence the need to know sooner rather than later when the match is. Six weeks notice would be better.
