I don't want to get into the Vaulks thing again. I can see reasons why we might regret it - any game we get bullied in we'll be asking where he is and he's been one of our best this year - but every player invited is between very capable and good on the ball whereas that's one of Vaulks' weaker skills. He's a good man, proud to play for Wales and knows what he needs to work on to become more of a complete footballer and therefore have more chances at international level.

Tom Lowery (Crewe) stands out as the most interesting name.
