That was a Saturday night. I watched it in a bar in Corfu with another City fan and a couple of Newcastle fans. Their game against Brentford had been TV on earlier in the evening if I remember correctly.

Not played them for a while but Tranmere’s home games were regularly on a Friday. Obviously not to clash with their neighbours. Had a few weekends in Liverpool on the strength of it in the past.
