That Von woman is going to end up in a wheelchair after crashing again having done her ACL a couple of weeks ago.

Sorry but it’s all I can think of except for the booing of the American and Israeli teams

Are GB likely to pick up any golds in anything? Do quite like to watch some of the sports but maybe it's just me but the build up for an olympic games seemed very muted. I know it's often the poorer relation to the summer games in terms of attention but still.

I used to really enjoy Ski Sunday but I do wonder whether I would have watched it had there been the viewing options people have these days. Somehow I doubt it.

I remember being overjoyed at Konrad Bartelski (Canadian Brit if memory serves) once winning a downhill.
          A very rare occurrence.

Eddie the eagle, best Olympian ever, think it was an old documentary but it was on a week ago Sunday.

Didn't they make a feature film about him?

Yes Welsh actor Taron Egerton played him, also had Hugh Jackman. 2015 apparently, the last 10 years have absolutely flown by.

Maybe Eddie should have had one of these penis injections: https://www.bbc.com/sport/articles/czej70jyg4eo

Curling perhaps. The women won gold last time and the men silver, and the mixed pair are in the semi final later.
The current mens Skeleton world champion is British too so should have a chance.

I obviously don't wish injury on anyone and I understand she's an elite athlete with a "compete at all costs" mentality.

But given the X post she put up mocking her doctor's advice not to compete, it's a bit hard to feel any sympathy.

3 gold medals now after winning 2 today. 1st time we've won more than 1 gold at a Winter Olympics. 2 golds for Matt Weston in the Skeleton - superb performances.

We've always been a winter sports type nation. Skiing ice hockey and other ice and snow shite.

Superb effort to pull back 0.3 and then win by 0.17, that’s a similar margin that he got over 4 runs in the individual. Probably the most dominant display by a GB athlete in the history of the winter games

Absolutely. He didn't just claw the time back, he did that and then won by (for that sport) a clear margin.
