Being as we don’t get given any, there were a number of shirt and short pulls in the box on Saturday for example. When do we think we’ll get one again this season? (If at all) I’ll go for the final home game of the season when there’s, hopefully nothing to play for.

Re: Our next pelanty
As I know you love a stat or two….. Cardiff are one of 4 teams awarded just 1 penalty all season, only Wigan have a 0 against their name.Originally posted by The Lone Gunman View PostHe's off....
By contrast Luton have had 8, and the average per team is 3.21. Interestingly we have had the 2nd most touches in the opponents box with 924, behind Bolton with 1,014. Luton are 4th in terms of this list. So statistically we are below where we should be on penalties awarded, I thank you.

Re: Our next pelanty
It is a bit of a surprise considering we spend more time in the box than most teams, there's been a few shouts that I can't believe weren't given but equally I'm sure there are instances where we've been fortunate not to concede one. As fans we tend to remember the former more than the latter.Originally posted by bluesp View PostAs I know you love a stat or two….. Re: Our next pelanty
It’s all a conspiracy. Match officials hate us. It’s because we’re Welsh (well, sort of). I mean, OK, they don’t seem to hate Swansea or Wrexham quite so much, but that doesn’t matter. It’s probably because we’re the capital of Wales. And our manager’s Irish. Something like that, anyway.
If Cardiff City were based in Birmingham, we’d get a lot more penalties. And be called Birmingham City, but that’s neither here nor there.

When we do get one let's hope it's better than the one that juck knocked Brentford out of the FA Cup.Originally posted by bluesp View PostBeing as we don’t get given any, there were a number of shirt and short pulls in the box on Saturday for example. Driving into the box at speed rather than tip tapping it around the box may help.Originally posted by bluesp View PostAs I know you love a stat or two….. Cardiff are one of 4 teams awarded just 1 penalty all season, only Wigan have a 0 against their name.
