I checked the route via street map but it looked pretty uninteresting. I know I don't need a push bike but it would avoid my having to wait for a bus and would save time instead of walking - and it may therefore help undue delay regarding the egress from the park and ride on the way home.

      Re: Reading away

Just bumping my earlier post...looking for 2 x spares for Saturday if anyone ends up with some.

I'm in London so can travel up easily on the day too.

Otherwise will end up in the home end

(I'm thinking about taking my push bike in my car to get to and from the ground and not depend on the buses that commute between Mereoak and the stadium).
This is where I always park. It's great. Park for free and then a thirty minute walk to the ground. Very quick access onto the M4 after the game. You will be on the M4 within 5 minutes post match.

What's the walk like from Green Park station to the away turnstile? We are planning on trying the train from Reading to Green Park

So weird that you can’t just show up to a third division game anymore. We would have taken 5,000+ to Reading.

Half the distance compared to the Mereoak walk so about 15 mins. Very straightforward.
