Brutal decision. Mind you, Chelsea should be stripped of any honours they won, during the period they blatantly cheated under previous owners.

On the face of it a really strange decision, surely it's the referees final decision to decide whether to finish a game or not? If a player alleges racism and the team leaves the field and CAS decides three months later there wasn't any, is that now forfeiting a game?

Senegal weren't in the right in the slightest and it's an awful advert for football all around but the precedence this sets that you can just decide a team has abandoned a game the referee decided to finish months later in the courts don't feel right either.

Just seen that CAF also slashed Morocco's fine for their ball boys continuously trying to steal the Senegal goalie's towel and manhandling his teammate who was trying to stop them from $200k to $50k. They also overturned a Morocco player's $100k fine for the same incident and reduced his 3 match ban to 2, and reduced Morocco's fine for their fans shining lasers at Senegalese players.
All in all a good day for Morocco.

I think something should have been done on the day. You can't take your team off the pitch because of a decision. I'm not sure there's any framework for it but ideally at that point they should have forfeited the match.
