He would supply the players, home and away, and officials with their pre, half time and post match brew. I have some funny memories of Sammy as I would be on match duty as a 15 year old (Hoovering, collecting kit, assisting Harry Parsons etc) Anyone remember John (Think that was his name) who used to work the gate on match days? Lived on Western Avenue, was as fit as a gypsies whippet. If ever there was a "Man that works at the fairground" look, John had it. Happy memories.

Terry wasn’t in the olden days. Extremely well known character. Haven’t you ever used 1-9-2-7 as a pin or as a hotel safe number, part of a passcode etc? That’s to do with the olden days but many present day City fans fit those four numbers in somewhere. Olden days indeed!

Remember him well, bandy legs, rosy cheeks, mad hair. Used to see him often but not for about 8/9 years now.

I seem to remember him, but that must have been years ago. I didn't know Cardiff had two mental hospitals, one in Ely, but then again, I don't know much about Ely really, other than Trelai (apparently once a racecourse), where I played football and the riots.

I think Ely was more learning disabilities and a death of a person there led to a wide scale review of learning disabilities services which led to the closure of most long stay learning disability hospitals like Ely and Hensol - Whitchurch which is the other one I assume you are referring to is I think a mental health service in the main ,👍

Another 90 minutes in the bag for me without a home goal.

This time the team in blue was Malaga. 0-0 v Leganes.

Home team frustrated and frustrating at times. More possession and effort on goal (some really good ones) but no goal and almost 28000 left disappointed with the team missing out on going into the automatic promotion places.

Lovely stadium. Good level of football as well. Spanish second tier.

We’ve found the root cause of our problems, can you take an extended International break please Mike?
