Ok. Then why would you not play the best keeper in the world at the moment for a cup final, unless he was injured or serving a ban. Absolute madness.
Because Kepa is a professional keeper on their books who has done well enough to help them to a final. He has likely been told he will have the domestic cup matches.
It's a decision for the manager but it's hardly madness.

They had a chance of making history. The first English team to win a quadruple.
They fall at the first hurdle by leaving arguably their best asset on the bench. Madness in my book.

I’d tend to agree, play your strongest team in the final. Playing a second string keeper worked for Man City though so you win some you lose some.
We should know better than most about bad managerial decisions in finals.
Jones left our standout player, Arron Ramsey on the bench till the hr mark, and we were already behind by then. The same player who had run the show against another then premier league side in the qtr final.
It’s only my opinion, but leaving Raya out yesterday was the wrong decision . There’s a big difference between Raya and Keppa and Trafford and Donarumma.
