  • Do we want to go up?

    £11m extra tv money £20m salary increase…

Just asking, our form has suddenly turned from champions elect to relegation if we hadn’t had a huge cushion…

    Can we afford it?

In 8 games we've gone from 4 points ahead to 12 points behind. Crazy.

Might be worth putting a Tanner on us not going up.

Makes sense, if we go down a few divisions salary will be even less and we won't have to pay for so many stewards either. Masterplan.

If I were Bolton ot Bradford I'd be saying Win 4 of or final games and we are in with a got shout.
We can't keep a clean sheets and can't hit a cows arse with a banjo over the past 3 games, lose to Bolton and it will to to the wire.

What’s saving us is they are all playing each other. Can we beat the bottom 2 clubs even?

I wonder if the lack of pressure from teams below us had led to a lapse of urgency within the team.

Despite some people on here still believing we’re consigned to the playoffs, we’ve never really had to worry about 3rd place or below since beating Bradford in January.

We’ve been lucky Bradford and Bolton’s form has been as inconsistent as ours, but it seems as a team we’re not “desperate” for a win. The free kick in the 94th minute today being an example of that. Passing it sideways instead of forwards would’ve been an insane decision were we only 1 or 2 points ahead of 3rd.

Lose to Bolton and they’re still 5pts behind, and a much worse goal difference, with 4 games remaining. Even if we lost our remaining 5 games after next Saturday I don’t think it’s a guarantee Bolton overtake us.

Yea winning 4 of their final matches would only be enough if we won one of our last 6 and lost the other 5.

I know our form is poor but I don't see that happening. Still could and maybe should have won today. It's not as if Bolton, Stockport and Bradford have won their last 3 or 4 and just as well.

I'm seriously worried about going up. Will we have the material to stay up. I don't think so even if we have a lot of very promising players
