What’s funny about it? They’ve gone the way you feared they would after selling Rees to Forest Green and that other player to Newport in January.

They looked a bit soft. Hereford have been regularly bullied by many other teams this season but outfought Merthyr yesterday. Some nice football at times but can't see them making the play offs, let alone winning them, on that evidence. We're still going down, which is shameful.

Was there? I seem to recall it mostly being people impressed by them even mounting a playoff challenfe considering their budget

They are, they have one of the lowest budgets in that division and have lost their best player
