Of course but that helps him not us. He needs to preserve his investment to get the maximum price when he ditches out. He gets a higher premium in the Championship than in League 1 but he will still not accept a realistic evaluation.

Investing money in the Championship is not in his business plan. He knows he couldn't sustain Premier status so this is his level to get out. He has no interest in us fans so why fool yourself?

I don't like Tan, at all. I probably dislike him more than you but saying that he doesn't dip his hand in his pocket is a complete fallacy and actively discredits the genuine failings of his ownership, of which there are many.

There are huge failings with his ownership and his collective leadership; there always has been.

My point is that yes of course he dips his hand in his pocket to keep his investment afloat when it is constantly losing money but, let's be fair who wouldn't? It would be utter folly otherwise. However when it comes to providing the necessary funding to improve the playing squad I believe he's always fallen short. I'm not necessarily blaming him for that because maybe he genuinely can't afford it, he's no Elon Musk after all.

My gripe is that surely he must be aware of his limitations and wouldn't it be better for Cardiff City as a club, and us fans, if he accepted a reasonable and fair offer for the club and allowed those more ambitious and better suited to take over the reins?

I fear he'll hold on and on for unreasonable amounts of money and which leaves the club at best in a stagnating position. It's worth remembering that ownership of the club has been valuable to him if only for enhancing his and his firm's worldwide recognition.

Come on Pedro no need to be insulting. We haven't spent a fortune at all. Every time we get in a promising position he won't lay out enough money for recruitment. He's paying wages over the odds because players are in contract and he's got no choice.
