Re: What a game next weekend.
It's crazy that there's only one automatic promotion place. Notts County had to go through the playoffs after finishing on 107 points but finishing 2nd behind Wrexham a few years back.Originally posted by Trigger View PostWow. Imagine breaking 100 points and not going up!

Re: What a game next weekend.
York have scored 113 times this season. Very impressive. A long story but, someone I knows husband is a York fan so I've been keeping an eye out on their scores, including the odd live updates from their ground when both go. But, a friend is a Rochdale supporter (too old to go these days). Plus, another mutual friend's son-in-law is a ref...who has ref'd York. York to get promoted then Rochdale to go up via the play offs. I'll be looking forward to seeing who the officials are. What if...? All to play for.

I’m surprised there has not been more contention over the ball crossing the line. I can’t see it and I’ve watched it over and over. How was the lino so convinced!Originally posted by IanD View PostWhat an end to a match. Moral of the tale...keep off the pitch until the final whistle. Congratulations to York....was it offside...did the ball cross the line?

Re: What a game next weekend.
Apparently, the lino had a good view. Looking at the reaction of the Rochdale players, they knew it had gone over the line as did the York players. Admittedly, difficult to see it from the tv point of view. What drama though. A friend's husband and other relatives were there supporting York.Originally posted by Lord Worcester View PostI’m surprised there has not been more contention over the ball crossing the line. Re: What a game next weekend.
You couldn't imagine a better script.
The euphoria for those York fans from thinking they had done it last weekend, to then thinking it was lost at the death. Not much else like it in life where you have such a feeling of instant celebration.
