Based on his Fulham stats he'd be villas second top scorer and top assist maker.

For a free I can see it, I know he'd have a bit more in wages without the fee but that still likely works out cheaper for villa than a good transfer fee plus good wages. Villa aren't going to be bringing in first team players cheaply these days.

This would be a good signing for Villa. Wilson is hot and cold, but he had an amazing run at the start of 2026. Villa have been run very well these past few years IMO.
