  • Bielsa - is he right?

I think he makes a fair point - so pleased clubs in the Championship turned down a version of VAR a few days ago.

Marcelo Bielsa: "I am sure that football is in a process of decline. "It is becoming less and less attractive because what made it the best game in the world is not there anymore. "If you let a lot of people watch football, but you don't protect the pleasure of what they watch, https://t.co/vFRgcoBTBI

I agree, it's not getting better, most of the changes make it worse.

I would tend to agree with that statement.

I find the game has become very homogeneous in recent times, espcially at the top.

It seems that flair, creativity and spontaneity has been pushed out in favour of athleticism, control and uniformity.

All football grounds look alike, teams seem to all play a similar way and players are quite robotic.

It's meant that I have really enjoyed watching us and our crop of young exciting players this season. They have an array of attributes and in the case of Colwill and Kellyman can be refreshingly unpredictable at times. We can go quick and direct or keep the ball, very versitile. One of my favourite seasons ever.

It helps that VAR is not in the EFL too, I hope it stays that way.

If they get rid of offsides like has been proposed takes away the majority of the silly VAR decisions
