A little early to start another transfer rumour thread but notice the FLW web site are running with a story we along with QPR ,Celtic and Rangers are looking at Sheff Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce Charles

something to talk about i guess !

Trott apparently posted something on his Instagram which seemed to suggest that he wouldn't be signing for City. Allegedly.

Apparently Manchester City are looking to re-sign him

Charles is quality, would be a hell of a coup. Everyone will be after him though, he's unbelievable with his feet.

Trott is almost certainly on his way after his latest post, and I don't think Tyrer starting on Sat was just to see what he's like.

He did his job; that loan move worked out well for both parties. We may need a more dominant keeper for corners anyway this season.

Would be a shame if Trott isn't returning, is a quality shot stopper, and his ability on the ball and athleticism are perfect for how BBM wants to play.

Feels like most in our budget will be a step down in some way or another. Looking at the Wednesday forum this guy is quite highly rated, not sure how much likely it is we are in with a shout.

The ‘news’ reports this morning from BBC and Wales Online say the club is hopeful/confident of signing Trott.

May be spin, but a different tone to everything else that has been published and debated in the past week.

He's an excellent keeper, unfortunately he doesn't command his six yard box.
If he had that attribute he'd be signing for a top six club.
