I was behind the goal as well and it looked like it was coming straight at me.

Another on the Kop that day.

One of the all time great Welsh performances. Hughes and Rush tore them apart that night. As usual we fell at the last against Scotland in the Jock Stein game.

Yup. The day after that Scotland defeat i was at Ninian Park for Training. I was in the away changing room (full on yellow tiles from floor to ceiling) And i was sat on the medical bed. Jimmy Goodfellow tapped me on the shoulder and told me that jock stein had died on the medical bed i was sat on the evening before. I don't think that i got off. Just thought i'd share that.

Wow. Scotland didn't beat us though. But it did feel like a defeat.

Yeah, you're right! I remember watching the game at home with my old man. I would have been 13, remember it like it was yesterday.

I was there too. Other than THAT goal and the 3-0 win, my overriding memory was finding an expensive ticket on the pavement whilst walking to the stadium with a mate and flogging it to someone outside the ground. With the proceeds we bought two tickets for ourselves and were moreorless level with Mark Hughes when he scored that goal.

You didn't think about going to the ticket office where the owner and fellow fan may have reported his loss?
