It’s purely hypothetical, as who knows how results would have been different in a tighter race, but 78 points would have been enough to get promoted, which I think we achieved at Peterborough on the 6th April.

Although we played Bolton in the next game which if Bolton had won, would have meant they could have also finished on 78. For me this was the game where it really felt like we had done it.

Pretty sure I said after the Peterborough result we’d be fine and 78 would be enough to go up.

Should’ve listened to the doom and gloomers and thrown my toys out of the pram. It’s been boring the past few months knowing we’ll be going up
