Seeing that you liked Ted Lasso, have you seen The First Team on BBC? I wasn't expecting much but it was actually really good

I'll look out for it. I wasn't expecting to like Ted Lasso. The concept sounds pretty stupid. But there was so much more to it. I really enjoyed it.

Picked up 'Crock Of Gold' from a thread below, though a bit miffed I need to pay for it. Two recommendations from me:

The 3 part 'Cockfields' written by one of my fave funnymen, Joe Wilkinson.

The Ashes (cricket) documentary on prime.

What else is worth a watch?

Been watching generation kill as well, though appreciate this is very old now. However, I really enjoyed it.

I just watched Manhunt - Richard Jewel. I can't remember what it's called. It was decent. If it makes me stay up to watch an extra episode - which it did - that's good enough for me.

I love Generation Kill, so good

Just finished it tonight. Really good. The only other David Simon stuff I've seen is the wire (which is truly brilliant), but I'll definitely watch more now.

Another recent-ish series I thought was good is the virtues.

Justified is the best series I've ever seen, so many brilliant characters. Although the Last Ship is about a pandemic it is also an excellent watch.
