Pure speculation? Well, if you regard BBM's description of his transfer window plans as 'pure speculation' then maybe!

He has been clear he doesn't want wholesale changes, wants to build on what he's got in the squad and Academy, and is prioritising quality over quantity.

That's the beauty of the manager saying words on the record!

If BBM gets the budget he'd like, there will be players coming in. If he doesn't... there won't be many players coming in. As I said, at this stage it's speculation.

I think he will sign four or five players in the summer. But I also think he will want to keep Bagan and Ng, and has options already for the Wintle role.

Budget will be a factor - but I believe him when he says he doesn't want massive change and turnover, and that he has faith and confidence in the younger players already at the club.

BBM appears to be a straight talker. I'll take him at his word.

That’s exactly the point Jon1959 is making. Four or five signings is not exactly many new signings - and this strategy has been quoted directly from BBM himself

One player I'll be surprised if we keep on is Troy Perrett. My mate is a Yeovil fan and even at that level he said Perrett offered nothing. Mafico on the other hand was a class above everyone else he said.
