Didn’t see that coming. Middlesbrough in final.
4 points docked for next season.

Nor me, this could open a can of worms as especially Southampton have the right to appeal. Sue the EFL for the money they could have earned from promotion?

      Re: Southampton kicked out

They've only got themselves to blame. And as for claiming for potential lost revenue, I can't see that carrying any weight because all they've missed out on is a play-off final, not automatic promotion.

They've admitted they broke the rules, not just on this occasion, but before. The appeal will be heard and concluded tomorrow.
The best they can hope for is think is a lower points deduction. If they're reinstated it'll set a bad precedent.

Presumably they've already sold the tickets for the final!? So what happens now?!

          Bonkers stuff. Love it.

It's difficult to imagine that an appeal won't be lodged when promotion is so incredibly lucrative. As for Middlesborough, some of their players are probably on holiday and/or indulging in calorific pleasures they have to limit when in training.

Apparently they’ve been in full training just in case.

Think the T&Cs mentioned something about them only being valid if Southampton play in the match.

What a shambles of a club Southampton are.

Utterly idiotic. Why spy v Oxford? They lost that game as well.🤣🤣🤣

This is nuts. Very funny though. They were apparently spying on Will Vaulks and Mark Harris training. Insanity! 🤣

One thing for sure. I don’t think any other club will spy on another team in the future.
Personally i think it’s a crazy reaction, but if the rules are in place, and you break them, then that’s the risk you take.
Going off on a tangent a bit, When are Man City gonna face the charges that are held against them ? Pep has said before, if Man City are found guilty of many of these charges, he’d leave the club. He’s not gonna have to make that decision now, as apparently he’s leaving after Sundays game.
