Makes sense, still time to improve as a player, a four-year contract we've tied him down and have a joint commitment to each other.

Everything seems so much better than twelve months ago; what a difference a good manager makes.

Fantastic news. I think he will get better and better. Tying down Trott, Ng and Bagan is fantastic business by the club and it should be recognised as such. No doubt many will still say that VT is not backing the manager but the evidence so far is quite the opposite.

I said elsewhere but I truly believe that VT will give BBM whatever he wants (within reason) and likewise he won't sell anyone that BBM wants to keep. VT is very stubborn as we know.

The cause of a small squad last season was purely a BBM decision, it wasn't enforced by anyone else. He could've had a number of other players if he wanted them but didn't.
