  • FT: Boro 0 - 1 Hull

What a pile of shite both teams are. To think one of these 2 clubs will profit from £200m upwards is scandalous. I’d fancy the current City team to beat either of these 2 on a big pitch like Wembley

    Hull v Boro.

Yes, there’s an awful lot at stake, but nearly forty minutes in and it’s desperately dull stuff. A few more promising signs in the last few minutes - most of the pitch is in shadow, but maybe the heat is having an effect??

    Hull just hit the bar.

Yes dull stuff, I don't think the Cardiff Pomey attendance record will be broken

Yeah both average sides and with a little investment I'm sure City can do well next season

16 years since a club finishing 6th has won the playoffs.

Boro record breakers, first team to lose the semis and the final and still probably feel hard done by.

Hull were 6/1 to get promoted before the playoffs started.

I didnt think they would do it but I thought 6/1 was too high considering they just had to win two ties.

I thought it was great value and so I backed them.

I’ve won many bets over the years this way.

Always look for value over what you think will actually happen.

Suppose it’s the result that means the least in terms of possible legal challenges. Will any of the promoted sides stay up? I reckon Ipswich will have the best chance, but wouldn’t be too surprised if Coventry managed to- think Hull will finish bottom of the league.

If you think 6/1 is value and have your reasons then yes. Equally a 1/6 favourite can also be value of course.

I wasn't sure what to make of the prices today. In the end I was surprised Boro were so poor given a few days ago they weren't in it. Just thought they would have come out and really gone for it.
