How often do the major clubs do an audit to ensure that families aren't renewing season tickets for departed relatives?

              Re: Arsenal v PSG

If our beloved team had just won the Premier League and got to the final of the most prestigious club competition in the world do you honestly think any of our fans would be complaining about our style of play, especially when you consider how outstanding Arsenal were in the knockout phase of the Champions League.

To jump on the bandwagon now that they lost the final by a single penalty seems rather churlish. Arteta employed tactics that came within a hair's breadth of beating the finest team in the world. If Arsenal had played expansive football, in all likelihood PSG would have wiped the floor with them. And no, PSG were not poor, Arsenal just stopped them playing and for the most part it worked. Raya barely had a save to make, which tells you all you need to know about how well structured Arsenal's defence was.
Indeed, the best move of the match came from Arsenal and perhaps Havertz should have scored his second.

I'm certainly not a closet Arsenal fan but you have to admire the spirit of a team that came so tantalisingly close to winning the Champions League.

I suppose it would have really kicked off if PSG had lost?

I wonder if a fan could leave their season ticket in their Will to a Trust with a family member as a Trustee, with instructions to renew it every year out of their Estate?

PSG had two big chances to finish it before the penalties.

Bear in mind that loads of posters on here just want to argue and pick a fight or steal a thread and know literally nothing about football.

That would be irrelevant though if the club concerned invoke terms and conditions that tickets may only be used by the original purchaser in the first place.

They don't need to make a will.

According to the Arsenal Season Ticket Terms and conditions it is perfectly possible, subject to evidence, for close relatives to continue to get the benefit of the ticket!

6.5 If you pass away, the Club will issue your estate with a pro-rata refund of the unexpired portion
of your Season Ticket(s) with effect from the date on which the Club is provided with a copy of
your death certificate, or the Club will, if requested, transfer your Season Ticket(s) to someone
whom the Club is satisfied is a close relative of yours.
In order to consider any such request the
Club will require the following information: (i) a copy of the death certificate of the deceased
Season Ticket holder; (ii) the name, any existing membership number, address, email, contact
telephone number and date of birth of the family member to which the Season Ticket(s) are to
be transferred; and (iii) proof of the family relationship between the deceased Season Ticket
holder and the person the Season Ticket(s) are to be transferred to.
