Youd have thought they would have sounded Alonso out before he went to Chelsea.

They are losing players recently worth millions for free. Their board have fecked up a lot recently. I wish theyd feck up again and appoint Gerrard. They are not that dull though. I think they will go for Iriola.

I've they'd already peaked how come they won the premiership in his first season but we're only runners up th season before?

It is baffling how things have gone so wrong at Liverpool. They won the PL without much fuss last season and reached the QF of the CL. I thought that this season it was hard to see past them again. How wrong I was

It seems to have been forgotten that whilst the defence of their title went poorly this season, their previous title defence was also a pretty poor follow up. Suppose he hadn't built up the goodwill that Klopp had.

Fell out with key players in Trent and Salah. I know Salah is finally starting to come down to earth after being the top winger in the Prem for years, but causing both to go, as well as getting rid of Diaz who is in form at Bayern, whilst Isak has been lukewarm at best, kind of summarises his recruitment strategy.

The Jota tragedy also definitely affected Liverpool, and was nobody's fault, but apart from the emotional turmoil that would cause to the players and staff, it also leaves a gap that has to be filled in the team. Everything just kind of went wrong for Liverpool, and Slot didn't do enough to keep the ship upright. Not to mention Klopp won Liverpool their first title in years and got a lot more goodwill than Slot did doing it for the second time.
