Re: World Cup 2026. General thread

Am I the only one who hasn't watched any games so far? France v Senegal will be the first match on my schedule.

This tournament will have zero primetime slots for the Chinese audience. To put it in perspective, the previous World Cup in Qatar had 31 matches kickoff during China's prime evening viewing hours (6 PM to midnight). The North American tournament has zero prime-time slots for Chinese audiences.
All the games here kick off between midnight and midday.
Viewing figures would be boosted a tad if India, with a population of over 1.4 billion, ever qualified.

I'm not forgiving Joe Jordan but the Scots fans have been that star of the show so far, brilliant they have been, the fan support in general has far has exceeded what i thought it might have been, we have all seen the ridiculous ticket prices, accommodation i'm guessing will not be reasonable, credit card companies will be delighted.

Interesting question i just read on Twitter - what on earth will America make of four draws in four games yesterday?
