Just catching-up with the podcast of Dalman yesterday; and he was asked the question re: Category 1 Academy Status; and whether that was the hope over the coming years, to which Dalman has said he 'hope's so' and that the business model in the Championship will have to change. We need to produce our own quality players.

Is this the first time the club has admitted exploring this in recent years?

It was mentioned during a fans meeting within the last 12 months on basis of something they had previously spoken about wanting to do but covid had delayed/made things more difficult.

It's something I would like to see happen.
