  • Anyone watched GB News?

I must admit I missed this;-

GB News continued a run of confusing geographic matters related to Wales today as they claimed that Rob Page’s team would be squaring up, not against Italy, but against the Italian capital Rome – and at Wembley. The channel claimed that the match ‘Wales v Rome’ was being played at 5pm at Wembley stadium. In […]

Apparently there was a cracking Shaun Ryder interview on there last night.

For a channel that nobody claims to watch everyone has an opinion on it

Isn't it a parody of or tribute to 'Drop the Dead Donkey'?

It's hilarious at the minute but sadly it'll improve

I heard the other day that some of the viewer comments they displayed were by a Mike Oxlong and Cleo Torres.

As I've not got a clue as to how to access it, my opinion is formed by a mixture of what I hear about it and what I would imagine such a channel to be like. What I didn't expect was its apparent Crossroads/Acorn Antiques production values, because I'd assumed there'd be some serious money behind it - as Delmbox says, I'd expect it to improve on that front.

Not heard of it until now, been on a bit of a news detox in general. Maybe they meant it.

                        Re: Anyone watched GB News?

The short time I watched GB News on its opening night the entire set up seemed amateurish. I had expected rather better given the amount of money that has been invested in this venture. I can't imagine the station lasting long unless their production and editorial values improve considerably.

For those who want to give it a try the channel is on 236 (Freeview) and 515 (Sky).

I did wonder if this was a windup to get more exposure

                          It worked if it did
