Russia are ahead of finland because of their head to head.


the order goes :

Points - head to head record - GD - etc etc


that means though that if Denmark beat Russia and Belgium beat finland all 3 sides will have the same points and the same head to head record - so it will go to goal difference which would be Denmark.


If Denmark and Russia draw then we could get Russia or finland (or even Belgium)

Even not going for it you would think Belgium will beat Finland. Hopefully then Russia draw with Denmark as I’d take them any day over Denmark , who we never seem to do well against

yes I would least like to face Denmark out of the likely opponents. I think they will beat Russia though.

Personally think GD should be higher in the deciding factor than h2h as then you’re prioritising good defensive and/or attacking performances overall. Is what it is though.

Finnish draw and Russian loss would do us too right?

Weird because if Finland and Russia both draw.

If Finland are 3rd likely to go through as one of best runners up but Russia would be unlikely to go through but would have finished higher.
