It's a joke isn't it? They actually sent me a cheque to compensate me for the amount of time I had to waste dealing with what should have been a routine license renewal.

Government department forcing back-office staff to work in the office when the job could be done at home. The DWP have just bought new office space in Caerphilly too. It is important that everyone sits in an office, regardless of the practicalities of it.

True story, last time I had the misfortune of trying to get hold of any of the people who work there, some swaaaaaansea girl talk the call, I couldn’t understand what she was saying, her accent was so strong….had to transfer me to a less Welshy colleague. Mental eh?
