Re: Big blow for Scotland.
that's a shame for them, he's done well. Although he wasn't first choice at the start of the tournament.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostBilly Gilmour tests positive for Covid.
Must be a real concern that others in the squad will pick it up as well. a team could easily loose 5 or 6 players and ruin their chances.

They’d need to tighten up then I s’pose.

Re: Big blow for Scotland.
If they followed the Covid rules properly, the whole team including the manager should now be isolating. He was hugging and cuddling most of them as he walked off the pitch. The manager was talking straight into his face from about 3” away and the England game was only 3 days ago. Chances are he was already infected.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostBilly Gilmour tests positive for Covid.

Re: Big blow for Scotland.
Chillwell and Mount now having to isolate, doesn't quite add up that no one else from the Scottish team has to?

Re: Big blow for Scotland.
The statements issued by both Scotland and England say they are acting on advice from Public Health England.
Something is going to have to give here. Either Chilwell and Mount must be told they don’t have to self-isolate for 10 days or the Scotland squad must be told that they will have to.

Re: Big blow for Scotland.
It makes sense for Mount and Chilwell to isolate. England are through keep away from the rest of the squad and hopefully for them all clear with the tests up to the last 16.
No point risking it spreading through the squad.

Re: Big blow for Scotland.
Maybe England are in a position where easier to be extremely cautious with two players when basically already through - and some are arguing finishing second gives them an advantage - rather than lose more players later on whereas Scotland desperately need to win their next game? But it can't be that, can it?

Re: Big blow for Scotland.
exactly my thoughts bloopOriginally posted by The Bloop View PostBut how did Gilmore get it? The squad are supposedly living in a bubble.
the only other people he would come into contact with would be people working in the restaurant / food areas of the hotel they are staying in that i could think of . i couldn't imaging the squad ( staff members too )being let out the camp the last 2 weeks
