It's highly, highly unlikely that Bale leaves football on 96 caps for Wales and with a chance of qualifying for World Cup in net 9 months plus 2 days, especially on back of being effective in Premier League over last 2 months and playing 4 games in a row at a decent level during the Euros, but I think this is a case of journalists imposing their own ideas onto Bale (far too soon after Wales leave tournament) and not being willing to wait for him him spell it out for himself. -
