Re: Tributes to lost loved ones and Peter Whittingham
Supporters unfurl giant Peter Whittingham banner and carry it across the stands. Fans stood and applauded on 7 mins and sang his name at full voice.

I was stunned by the numbers. Just kept on coming. Every one of them a mum, dad, grandparent, son, daughter, aunt or uncle. Too many loved ones. Gone but not forgotten.Originally posted by life on mars View PostI found it very upsetting.

It was very emotional. The tribute to Whitts himself was very understated, and I guess that’s what the family wanted, but I’ll admit to crying.
I thought the whole thing was very well done, and as much as people knock the club for some things, I thought they got it 100% right!

From a personal point, I fortunately have not lost anyone in the last 18 months.
That montage today upset me and the realisation that fellow Bluebirds around me were no longer present really hit me more than at any point in this pandemic.
RIP Bluebirds.
