The average speed cameras at Port Talbot start just before junction 40 but the site says the advisory letters apply between Junction 41 and 42.Originally posted by Cleve van Leef View Post
So are they booking people who speed between Junction 40 and 41? :sherlock:

Because enough people don't give a shit about well explained reasons or are too stupid to understand. No finer example than Covid, where appealling to people's better nature for things like staying at home unless essential, social distancing, not mixing with others has seen some people not care less.Originally posted by surge View PostWhy can't we live in a country where a long list of well explained reasons not to speed are sufficient to change behaviour rather than it all coming down to whether it's the law or not?

I agree about the covid. you cannot trsut people to stay at home just because you have told them it is dangerous for everybody to be out and about. There needs to be a cerfew which should then be enforced.Originally posted by Eric the Half a Bee View PostBecause enough people don't give a shit about well explained reasons or are too stupid to understand. Like the Itish army did it in the first lockdowm.
Paddy and mike we detailed to an observation post on a long stretch of road near the border with intructions to shoot anyone moving on the road after 7 PM. They got there about 6.30 and were settling in for the night when Paddy picks up his rifle and shoots a guy walking down the road.
Michael asks him why he did that when it's only 20 minutes to 7.
paddy says, "It was Sheamus O'Malley, I know where he lives. There was no chance he could get home from here in 20 minutes"
And I think we should have the Army out too shooting people who don't comply. The population would soon toe the line!!
