Toshack once said that there are players who play in the premier league and there are premier league players.

I assume it has relevance further down the pyramid as well.

L1 is about right for Morrell.

After seeing the Newport play off final I reckon Morrell is a step up from that.

Nah
He played in a friendly Tuesday behind closed doors scoring the only goal of the game
Also scored against West Brom

He did have a niggling ankle injury which kept him out for a month but he’s back to full fitness

Which leaves the question when exactly is the best time to give the lad his debut?
