No sallt if you want other things to grow.
use salt on patios, paths and drives though.
Vinegar works well, but I always fancy fish and chips when I go in the garden now.

White vinegar , 5 percent

I tried 20 percent but it was too strong , with the milder one it soaks into the roots leading to a slow agonising death

Boiling water is not practical

Bad and forth to the kettle

Can't be doing with that

Fill up a 2 gallon sprayer with vinegar , salt and soap liquid , spray on big areas of weed on a sunny day

Go and lie down
