Good luck to him at Reading but can’t help think his best days are now past him
Could argue their quality , experience and how that transcended through the squad played a huge part in our promotion year recognition of that has to sit with the manager a the time for making that decision.

Technically, one of the best players we've had in a long time. He has an excellent first touch and is always capable of pulling of a wonderful goal.
        Good signing for Reading.

Great signing, great player, great person. I'd say his legs had gone a bit. But what do i know.

You'd know better than me, but i believe he's always lived in the Reading /Maidenhead area.

So Reading would be a great last posting for him.

Great player for us, with some magical moments, but hardly a look in for the 18 months before his release (or end of contract).

Good luck to him. It will be interesting to see if he really is in decline or if Harris and McCarthy have made a bad call with their selections and contract decisions.

I too am interested to see what he does at Reading. I've posted before that I feel he became a selfish player in his final season and would get himself into a great position where a pass would have likely given someone else a better chance on goal. I think he started to make one touch too many. He's scored some great goals for us and I wish him all the best.
