Undoubtably a case of "two teams trying to win a football match".

You have to feel sorry for Russ. It's almost like every game his teams play, the other team is trying to win. He can't get a break.

Most of Slade's job have been firefighting. In those kind of roles, the aim is to stabilise - anything else is gravy.

Greatest manager in the world, no. Worst we've ever had as some would like to make out? Ridiculous...

Oh God, No! We've had much worst than Slade. Ole 'The Useless One' was a far, far worse manager than Slade. Especially when you consider the tat he signed on excellent wages.
