Bernard Edwards was one of the best and influential bass players ever. That doesn't take anything away from how good John Taylor is.Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostHe was good but not amazing

Re: Great Bass Lines
Would be something from and in no particular order,
Larry Graham
Victor Wooten
Geddy Lee
Pino Palladino
Bakithi Kumalo
Marcus Millar
John Paul Jones
Carol Kaye
Mark King
Paul McCartney
John Entwhistle
Tony Levin
I’ve gone for various styles and depends on what mood I’m in as to what is in the CD player have been going through the YES back catalogue of late and been warming to the skills of the late Chris Squire.
The what makes this song great series from Rick Beato is I think some of the best stuff on you tube I’m not a musician but his technical breakdowns are brilliant and for non-musicians so interesting. I have watched his interview tonight with Jon Anderson it’s great stuff.

Have you seen the Paul McCartney 3-2-1 series with Rick Rubin? Absolutely amazing. It's on Hulu. Do you get that?Originally posted by Refusenik-Blue View PostWould be something from and in no particular order,
