If they float your boat then great, ain't your life a bowl of cherries, but some of us aspire to something more musically.
You really are up your own arse.

I know it's pathetic of me and I should know better at my age, but when I hear the phrase "I can feel it coming in the air tonight" I childishly think Collins is singing about having a wank. And I really don't want that image in my head so try to avoid the song.

Just asked the question when did "whatever" start being used on Google and it came back with;-

"The slang use of 'whatever' originated in the U.S. and was made popular-in teen movies such as Clueless in 1995, which starred Alicia Silverstone as a spoilt high school pupil. It has since gradually seeped into widespread use."

            as well as this;-

The poll revealed it was more grating to many people than 'anyway' and less tolerable than phrases such as 'it is what it is' and 'you know'.

            Just thought I'd say.

Wrong again. Tuerto is one of the few on here whose opinion is worth reading.

Well I appreciate your sentiment even if I'm no Phil Collins fan, TOBW :-)
