    Re: Support At Forest

Looked like an old school kind of away day.

The celebration for the 2nd reminded me of some of the old celebrations of the Grange End circa 92/93/94. (Carl Dale against Wrexham in the Welsh cup springs to mind). I think the kids call it "limbs" these days.

Over 1200 sold already for Coventry apparently. Great support for a midweek game

We've taken 1300 there on a Tuesday night before now. Matching, or bettering that would be good.

Sure we took a bit more than that for a midweek a few years back when Bothroyd scored the winner after being battered by Ben Turner all night 1500-2000 ?

              Long time ago mind

That was the match I was thinking of. 1300 rings a bell. Very sparse in our corner until about 10 minutes before KO and then a tsunami of City fans that didn't seem to stop. Plus a female lino (for the first time??). The Ricoh was a library, apart from our lot, all night.

October 2010. Whitts (p), Bothroyd late winner. Aaron Gunnarson, along with Ben Turner, also played against us. Not to forget, Jay Bathroyd also used to play for Coventry.
