It's games like this where you look at Leeds and Bielsa having a year-by-year contract and you wonder if we could have done that with Mick....

It's a long, long season though and just about every side (bar Fulham) will have games where they look rubbish.

Terrible game. McCarthy should have started with the same line up as last time, and then made the same changes later on. Can't think of a single player who had a good game. Bagan makes too many mistakes.....

I feel sorry for the likes of Colwill and Harris, who have shown in spells lately that they both have talent, but at their age and given their experience, are still a bit green. Both will have been feeling confident after recent games and international involvement, yet McCarthy hauls them off at half time. Young players need to be given more time and to be given a bit more responsibility.

Philips just smashes the ball up the pitch, the back 3 are woeful on the ball, Vaulks can’t pass it 5 yards. What chance have we got when half the team treat the ball like a hot potato.

But hoofing it brings us success that's why our fans put up with it because they'd rather see us win by hoof than errr. Oh never mind.
