Not entirely sure it ever went completely away, market stalls anyway.Originally posted by Rjk View Post
We have never gone completely metric.
The road signs are still shown as miles not kilometres.
Expressing ones weight is usually stones and pounds.
Joe blogs is "six foot two".
We might as well go the whole hog and go back to imperial

Re: what a ridiculous idea
I have no idea how tall I am in metres. I know I'm 5ft 11.
I know how far 100 miles is but don't in Kilometres. Also the premier inn in putney is 1000 yards to craven cottage, don't ask me what that is in new money.
I glad he's reverting back as for me it never went.

As Splott Parker has pointed out numerous times, if you go out with say £60 in your pocket, when £60 is spent, you go home.Originally posted by WJ99mobile View PostHave you ever heard of a debit card?
It’ll change your life
If you go out with a debit card, you will most probably carry on spending.
