Re: Next Manager
The Under-23s also play against very different opposition to the first team.Originally posted by 2b2bdoo View PostYou would hope he would try and get the best out of some of the youth players who need to come up with MM stripping the squad of any pace and Wingers.
Until. January it makes sense to me.
It's been commented the U23s play very differently to the first team.
Let's not pretend it wouldn't be a huge risk, but until January I think a risk worth taking.

Re: Next Manager
Of course and that's why I said it would be a huge risk. In an ideal world the youth teams and the first team would play a similar way which would make the transition easier for the youth players. I guess that's why a lot of big clubs bring in former players who know the style of the club.Originally posted by LeningradCowboy View PostThe Under-23s also play against very different opposition to the first team.

Would be right behind you on Morrison.Originally posted by life on mars View PostSteve Morrison and Bellers .
If we keep appointing the same type of manager - Hughton, Pulis… - we’re never going to break the cycle. Take a chance.
His coaching career has started well and let’s not forget he made more than 600 league appearances as a player.

Re: Next Manager
Let's play pretty football all the way down to League 1. Would fans appreciate that? Of course not. Any new manager inheriting our squad would find it impossible to last in the job for more than a few weeks if we kept losing trying to play attractive so talking about a new manager at this stage is a waste of oxygen.

Yes, because the current football is seeing great success...Originally posted by Vindec View PostLet's play pretty football all the way down to League 1. Would fans appreciate that? Of course not. Re: Next Manager
25/1 for relegation on oddschecker
I’d hate to think so
With Mickey Square Holes at the helm I certainly wouldn’t bet against it
We’ll lose tonight
Reading at 7/2 on Saturday is worth a cheeky tenner then god forbid a loss to the jacks in a few weeks and then look at the relegation odds 🤔😞😞😞😞
