  • Genuine question about McCarthy

When he took over last season we looked almost invincible, until he got his contract. How has it all gone pear shaped?

    Almost invincible is pushing it.

Is that meant to say “almost convincible” [sic]?

Wilson Ojo Ng in better form Bennett until he got injured and an in form Moore banging in goals and not on the bench watching a lower league journeyman in his place and our 2 wing backs are centre halves.

I can’t see what the answer is. Even a new guy is inheriting a group who cannot play football with no sign that they are capable of with better tactics. There is barely a Plan A. Most of the team has shocking technique and what little confidence they might have had had gone.

Same thing with Harris. New manager bounce. Once the novelty wears off after half a dozen games, you need a manager with substance and ideas. Otherwise, there's nothing to fall back on once the enthusiasm dies down.

              Simple as that , surely.
