  • RIP James BrokenshawMP

The Conservative MP has died of Lung Cancer aged 53.

He always seemed to be one of the decent ones.

That is dreadful news gosh , so young , yes he was a decent sort .

There a few nice Tories especially the new intake , there is a great programme on Times Radio (Sunday ) where opposing MP are brought together to discuss an unlikely friendship nurtured out of joint beliefs , and charity work , its great to know there are decent sorts around the political spectrum , and away from the political gutter politics .

            He was a moderate

I wonder if he was a smoker ?

You hear of people who get lung cancer who never smoke

Roy Castle apparently never smoked. But because of his time spent in working men's clubs he developed passive smoking which resulted in lung cancer

Very sad, at such a young age.

The cross-party comments on twitter etc are quite heart warming really. He seems to have been widely respected and considered a kind person. Leaves behind a wife and kids.

Alongside Andrew RT Davies news yesterday, a timely reminder that we are all vulnerable

                  RIP

Apparently he never smoked, very young a great shame.

By what definition was he one of the decent ones? have you seen his voting record?
