I’ve lived at addresses with pretty drab names, except the Isle of Man, where the majority are in Manx which is great.

My current address is a bit of a mouthful, Majora Henryk Dobrzańsk Hubala.

Turns out he was a Polish war hero, partisan & the Wehrmacht had to send 8,000 against his 300.

Makes interesting reading & apparently a film was made about him. Love stuff like this.

I used to live on Weezer Strasse (which sounds funnier when pronounced by someone who doesn't speak German).
Nearby was Humperdincker Strasse (the eponymous German composer whose name was used as a stage name for the 60's crooner).

I used to live at Galley Hill. It seems there were a lot of ne'er do wells hanging around in that area in the past.

I have lived at 5 Mayfair. Not the one in London, twas a residential caravan park. My porn name would have been Lucky Caerwent. Bit of a welsh twang to it. 😂

Born in Emlyn Avenue, first pet was Trixie the dog. Or maybe percy the tortoise.

I used to live on Edwin Conroy Street. He was known as the hanging general during the boer war because he lynched loads of innocent black people. There is a cul-de-sac coming off it in the shape of a hangmans noose. If you look at it on google maps it shows the noose as a straight line. You have to look at streetveiw to see its true shape.
