  • Ever the optimist....

Bu**er., ....missed the game today as I didn't realise it was a 12:30 ko.......seems like I didn't miss much. Where was Bagan today? Was he injured or a scapegoat after his error last game.....I remember another young full back in that situation in the Dave Jones era.....Youngsters WILL make mistakes....they need an arm around the shoulder sometimes.
Having said that, Brown is going nowhere - ship him out. If Harris at 22 is not a regular first teamer....if he has not cemented his place at that age he is not going to make it.

So..MM gone....whoever comes in has a mammoth job - although as has been said elsewhere it is CONFIDENCE that is lacking as well as tactics. We are still (just) outside the bottom three...and hey...we are only ten points off a play-off place(!) Funny things happen in football...you get a new manager....a winning streak of 3-4 games....and we cannot go on not scoring and not winning can we...can we?
ah....ok...back to my bottle of Merlot....

Injury time win for Peterborough move them 3 points above us. However Hull lost and Derby only drew so those two are still below us. A win for Barnsley tomorrow will push City down into the bottom three on goal difference. Not optimistic I'm afraid.
